Updating keeps your printers. Installing this version over an older Bridge (3.x or 4.x) keeps every printer and the one you print to.
Repairs a default printer that cannot print. If the Bridge was set to a USB printer that is no longer connected, the update switches to the one printer that is connected. A printer that is only switched off is never replaced.
Picks the right printer on a new install. Connected receipt printers come first; USB entries without a printer and office printers (for example Brother, HP, Canon) are skipped.
Automatic updates from Bright Kitchen. From this version Bright Kitchen can update the Bridge for you remotely, store by store. Your printers are checked before and after, and an update that fails is rolled back.
No more false startup warning. The POS no longer reports the Bridge startup task as missing when it is installed.
Faster switching between POS versions. When you open a different Bright POS on the same computer, the Bridge connects to it immediately.
Works with Bright POS 27.3.52 and 28.x. Tested on Epson USB, DuraPOS (network and Windows printer) and SUNMI network printers.
